RHA answers Olympic parking questions - February,12
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) has issued answers to a number of common questions regarding the problems of parking for hauliers during the upcoming London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Parking in London is to become more restricted from June 25th, with hauliers subject to fines of up to £200 for parking outside of allocated areas or within the Olympic Road Network (ORN).
The organisation revealed details of the ORN are available via the Transport for London (TfL) website.
The news follows the announcement of a number of workshops by TfL for members of the haulage profession in regard to the likely impact of the games in the coming months.
Running until the end of February, the events are highlighting the preparations that have already been put in place to help the industry to continue operating as normal, as well as the route network that will be open to operators during the games.
